Growth hormone secretagogues are peptides studied for their action on the GH axis — either as GHRH analogues, which act on the pituitary GHRH receptor, or as ghrelin-receptor agonists. Sermorelin is the shorter GHRH fragment; tesamorelin a stabilised analogue studied in metabolic contexts; GHRP-2 and GHRP-6 are earlier secretagogues that remain research standards.
