Bacteriostatic Water (0.9% benzyl alcohol solution) is a sterile laboratory diluent for reconstituting lyophilized research peptides. The 0.9% benzyl alcohol suppresses bacterial growth, allowing a reconstituted vial to be drawn from repeatedly over the course of a research protocol.
